The Remarkables

Peter Parnham And I have teamed up with Bryan Christianson to form a group called ‘The Remarkables”. We play blues,jazz, western swing, bluegrass as well as…well, come along and see for yourself.
We had our first gig at the Rafters Folk Club and there is a rumour of an appearance at the Devonport Folk Club in July but stay tuned for final details.
Thanks to all those who came to the Rafters gig, I hope you enjoyed yourselves. We sure did.

Wellington Folk Music Festival

Peter and I will be heading off to Wellington During Labour weekend to appear at the Wellington Folk Music Festival. We’re looking forward to that. ‘Wires and Wood’, winners of the Best Folk Album award will also be there. For a full list of what’s happening at the fetival best check out their website.

Auckland Blues Club

If you’re a blues fan and are in Auckland looking for a night out go to the Winchester Bar in St Benedicts Street on the second Wednesday of the month and take in the Auckland Blues Clubs monthly jam sessions.  A grand night for those who want to play as well as those who want to listen.
